Solid Results at Region Audition
Please help me congratulate the 49 Westwood HS Choir students auditioned this past weekend in the first round of the TMEA All-State Choir audition process. 90% earned a spot in a region ensemble.
- 15 – Region Treble Choir
- 29 – Region Mixed Choir
23 of our students have advanced to Pre-Area, making up 20% of the possible audition spots, including 14 who placed in the top 5 in their audition room.
Proud of our entire staff, including Westwood Vertical Team directors Jennifer Alexander, Raul Vara, Misti Vara, and our voice teachers, Lauren White Arthur, Stephen Maus, and Rebekah Smeltzer Staley.
Let’s work on some Mozart and Brahms now.
