The Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation will take place on March 4-5, 2024 at Georgetown HS. Each performing ensemble will be evaluated by a panel of three judges in both concert and sight-reading phases. Each adjudicator uses a rubric developed by the Texas Music Adjudicators Association to evaluate the performances according to the generally accepted, state-wide standards of excellence.
Please note the following rule change, which began during the 2021/2022 school year:
- Students participating in this activity are NO LONGER required to be eligible according to the State of Texas “No Pass, No Play” rules.
- ALL students are able and expected to travel with us to UIL, unless there is a director decision to remove a student for a violation of our Choir Handbook Policies.
