UIL Concert and Sight-Reading

The Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation will take place on March 4th and 5th at Georgetown HS. Each performing ensemble will be evaluated by a panel of three judges in both concert and sight-reading phases. Each adjudicator uses a rubric developed by the Texas Music Adjudicators Association to evaluate the performances according to the generally accepted, state-wide standards of excellence.

Students participating in this activity must be eligible according to the State of Texas “No Pass, No Play” rules.

Note the following change:

  • All Varsity Ensembles will compete at the EARLY contest, March 4th and 5th
  • All NON VARSITY Ensembles will compete at the LATE contest, April 17th and 18th
