UIL Concert and Sight-Reading

The Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation will take place on March 9th-12th at Georgetown HS. Each performing ensemble will be evaluated by a panel of three judges in both concert and sight-reading phases. Each adjudicator uses a rubric developed by the Texas Music Adjudicators Association to evaluate the performances according to the generally accepted, state-wide standards of excellence.

Please note the following change for the 2019/2020 school year:

Students participating in this activity are NO LONGER required to be eligible according to the State of Texas “No Pass, No Play” rules. ALL students are able and expected to travel with us to UIL, unless there is a director decision to remove a student for a violation of our Choir Handbook Policies.
