Butler Opera Center Young Artists Program

Greetings!  We are beginning our recruiting for this coming summer’s BOCYAP program. This will be our 11th summer and we hope once again to provide the best possible opera and musical theater experience for high school and beginning college students.

Our program starts June 11 for three weeks, Mondays and Thursdays.  We will be having auditions at the BSOM March 17 and April 21, but we also accept Youtube performances if the students are unable to audition in person.  We need one selection, usually their UIL solo or a musical theater selection.

Our faculty includes all of our BSOM Voice and Opera personnel. We do have some scholarship funding for those who have exceptional talent and need.
